Injured Clinton Motorcyclist Receives Nearly $1 Million in Settlement

Robert Peterson suffered a serious head injury, facial lacerations and multiple fractures to his leg after crashing in June 2012.

Clinton resident Robert Peterson has been awarded a $975,000 settlement from AllState for injuries he suffered in a June 2012 motorcycle crash, The Connecticut Law Tribune reports.

Peterson was driving his day-old motorcycle in Westbrook when 18-year-old Madison resident Analise Tenney made a quick left turn. Peterson then collided into her vehicle, the Tribune said.

Peterson suffered a head injury, severe lacerations to his face, multiple fractures to his right leg and was airlifted to Yale-New Haven Hospital by LifeStar, according to the article.

He accrued $328,000 in medical bills and will lose a projected $483,000 in wages due to his inability to resume his job as an auto body technician.
