"History in Motion" Parade Set for May 4

Join Clinton's Bike & Pedestrian Alliance to help celebrate the town's 350th birthday.

 

To celebrate Clinton's 350th birthday this year, the Bike & Pedestrian Alliance of Clinton (BPAC) is organizing a bike/ped/(equestrian?) 'History in Motion' parade from Post Office Square to the Clinton Town Beach on Saturday, May 4th from 11am to 1pm.

Whether you choose to represent a historical character, a special event in Clinton's history, or your own family tree, join friends and neighbors to create Clinton's largest human history book.

The group will walk or pedal 350 years of history, 1663 - 2013, down Main Street and out to the Town Beach where food vendors and activities will await.

The cost is $1 for kids and $3 adults which will help cover the costs of publicizing the event and providing commemorative bibs for participants.
