Clinton PTA Announces Guest Speaker: Assistant Superintendent of Schools
Maryann O'Donnell will speak on the subject of 'Understanding the Common Core State Standards in Math and Literacy' May 1.
Assistant Superintendent of Clinton Schools Maryann O'Donnell will speak at the next Clinton PTA meeting held Wed., May 1 from 6:30pm-8:30pm at the Henry Carter Hull Library.
The event is free and open to all.
O'Donnell will provide an overview of the 'Common Core State Standards in Math and Literacy' and an update on the new Smarter Balanced Assessment that will measure the Common Core Standards. This assessment will be replacing the CMT and CAPT in the Spring of 2015.
All parents and the entire Clinton educational community are welcome and encouraged to attend.
