Clinton and Dr. Seuss

Clinton celebrates 350 years this year and on the website, Clinton350.org there are all sorts of tid bits of Clinton fun facts. The most recent of which included everyone’s favorite children’s book author Dr. Seuss.  

As the story goes, the young Theodor Seuss Geisel would spend his summers at Clinton’s Town Beach and even became a skilled clam digger.  

But what of Clinton can be found in his books? Did he meet his first star-bellied sneetches on Clinton’s beach? Is that where he first heard  a Who?
