Chamber Hopes for Clear Forecast for Summer Series Concert Thursday
The Clinton Chamber of Commerce is hoping for clear skies for this Thursday, August 8, so the Summer Series Concert can be held- it was cancelled last week due to thunderstorms.
"Do A Stay-Away Rain Dance...So We Can Get Back to the Business of Making Music!" That's what the Clinton Chamber of Commerce said this week after their summer series concert had to be cancelled last week due to thunderstorms.
Here's some details on this week concert, which will feature Shaded Soul:
Guilford Savings Bank summer concerts continue this Thursday August 8 with the music of Shaded Soul. 6:30 pm. Pierson School lawn located on Route 1 in Clinton. The Guilford Savings Bank Summer Concert Series is hosted by Clinton Chamber of Commerce. Bring a lawn chair or blanket..... bring your family and friends.......bring your favorite food and beverage ....bring your outside singing voices and wear your dancing flip flops! Clinton Rocks!
Right now, the weather forecast could go either way, according to the National Weather Service. They say there is a "chance of showers and thunderstorms," about 50%. So, Clinton will keep it's fingers crossed the showers hold off!
