It's called "A Night For Paul," a dance and gathering to benefit friend and neighbor Paul Hotchkiss.
First Selectman Willie Fritz who knows Hotchkiss, said the coach, who is 48 years old, is well-known around town for his involvement in soccer, youth football and youth hockey.
"He's married to Lisa and has three sons, Paul Jr., who is at Xavier, Joel who is in the seventh grade and Aiden who is in the fifth grade," said Fritz.
The benefit will be held at Clinton's Andrews Memorial Town Hall the evening of Friday, April 5.
The event is a BYOB: bring your own favorite beverages and food to share.
The local band Rock Bottom will be playing, free of charge.
There will be raffled items, as well.
