"Be Careful Out There"

An update Saturday from the men and women at Clinton Department of Public Works, who have been working for the past 36 hours to keep the roads and sidewalks clear.

From the Clinton Department of Public Works

Good morning,

Be careful out there

Town roads are in decent shape but there are slippery spots.

The sidewalks have been plowed but they remain snow covered please use caution when traveling on the sidewalks.

This morning crews will be applying sand and salt to the main roads and intersections.

Temperatures are expected to be in the upper twenties and the combination of sun and traffic will help clear the roads of the ice and hard packed snow buildup during the last 36 hours.

Roads will continue to be slippery overnight tonight with patchy ice in some locations.

The Transfer Station is open during its regular hours today [Saturday].
