The annual event is a fundraiser for Families Helping Families, a 501(c)3. The organization helps needy Clinton families in two ways: they host food drives that bring in pounds and pounds of non-perishable food and they raise money that goes to help pay for heating fuel for Clinton families.

There is no charge for this pancake breakfast.  Families Helping Families as well as the Lions Club asks that those attending bring cans of food or make a cash donation for energy assistance.
