Looking for Morgan Memorabilia: Do you have some mementoes of your years at Morgan and wondering what to do with them? Before you toss it all out, consider passing it on to the Morgan Alumni Association. The Association, in conjunction with the Clinton Historical Society, has gathered countless documents about Morgan that are now catalogued at the George Flynn Library. School newspapers like The Record from 1908 - 1911 and a few years in the '30s, issues of Ivy Leaves from the 50's and 60's, copies of The Tower, the school yearbook, from 1941 - 1969, school catalogues from 1872 - 1931, prom bids, newspaper articles, photos and more are all part of the archives. There are a lot of years of Morgan history missing from this collection and the association would be more than happy to accept anything any alumni or the family of an alum would like to donate. Anything and everything would be wonderful additions, keeping the long history of Morgan, its traditions and events, alive for future generations. Please contact April Godwin Shuman at mamashu@yahoo.com to arrange a way to get your Morgan treasures added to these archives. The George Flynn Library, 103 East Main Street, is open Wednesday mornings from 9:00 AM - noon. All are welcome to stop by to take a stroll down Morgan's memory lane.
