For the last two years the Bike & Pedestrian Alliance of Clinton (BPAC), together with the Clinton PTA, Pierson School staff, and interested parents have joined with students at Abraham Pierson School to participate in International Walk to School Day (IWTSD). The event promotes awareness of the need for safe routes to school and the funding thereof. The date for IWTSD this year is Wednesday, October 3rd. This year participation is expanding to students at Eliot, as well as at Pierson.
VOLUNTEERS ARE NEEDED FROM ~7-8AM ON WEDNESDAY MORNING, OCTOBER 3, TO HELP WITH REGISTRATION AND TO WALK WITH THE STUDENTS.
