We beat Westbrook 8-1 and 3-1. We beat North Branford 4-0. We beat Portland 4-1. We tied Old Lyme 2-2 and 0-0. We lost to John Winthrop 6-3. The manager of the team is Michael Le. The coach is Scott Eident. The Captains of the team are Blake Braman, Brittany Nobitz, Shannon Maher, Annie Cunningham and Olivia Powers.

I have mixed emotions about how this was handled originally. For those that don't remember, it was…Read More basically a secret deal, avoiding proper process. Anyway let's hope it ends well. Finally some economic development. On a technical note I believe the town still owns the Nod Road property with the developer getting a lease for $1 based on meeting certain conditions. I also believe that it was "sold" to residents with the assertion that the developer would remediate the pollution or abandon the property back to the town. Now we find the taxpayer will pay for remediation.
