Community Foundation Celebrates 15 years of

“Helping Good People Do Great Things”

Let’s light up the night! Friends and colleagues come together for a fun filled evening celebrating the Community Foundation of Middlesex County’s 15th Anniversary.

The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is thrilled to have reached this milestone and is commemorating this special event with a festive gala – 15 Towns, 15 Years, 15 Candles Anniversary Celebration - taking place at The Riverhouse in Haddam on Friday, November 16th.

The Community Foundation of Middlesex County is unique; it was founded by and for the community. This grass roots effort, with multiple donations from countless caring donors, has grown through many gifts from diverse segments of the entire community.

In its fifteen years of operations, the Community Foundation’s pooled assets have grown to over $10 million. It has provided $2.5 million in grants to nonprofit organizations to improve the Middlesex County for programs in the arts; cultural and heritage programs; educational activities; environmental conditions; and health and human services.

The Community Foundation marks its 15th Anniversary during National Community Foundation Week (Nov. 12 -18) and following National Philanthropy Day (Nov. 15). The Community Foundation’s guests will enjoy delicious gourmet food and beverages, a live and silent auction, and a short program recognizing the efforts of those who have made 15 years of Helping Good People Do Great Things achievable.

Essex Savings Bank and Essex Financial Services are proud to be the presenting sponsors of the Community Foundation’s 15th Anniversary Celebration. The Community Foundation is grateful for the generous support provided by Middlesex Hospital, Clark Group, Liberty Bank, Best Cleaners, Orthopedic Associates of Middletown, Pough Interiors, Aetna, and Pratt and Whitney.

This Community Foundation, your Community Foundation, is and continues to be community philanthropy. With you and your friends and neighbors, together we continue to Help Good People Do Great Things!
