There will be a celebration of Sukkot, the Jewish festival of the harvest which began Wednesday Sept. 18th and will end Wednesday Sept. 25, on Tuesday. Celebrate with others from the shoreline by eating pizza, listening to stories, singing songs and creating crafts. The event is for people of all ages. Check out the listing to find out more.
Later this week, you can join others at the Mercy Center for an evening reflection on the life of Father Henri Nouwen, a spiritual writer. "Henri's life and thought, his struggles and his ability to see Divine Love at the heart of his personal darkness make him a perfect companion for our own personal spiritual journeys," according to the Mercy Center.
